Oteiza Museum Oteiza Museum was created by the architect Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza and has the personal collection of this sculptor and artist, with 1,650 sculptures, 2,000 pieces of his jobs, and an extensive presence of drawings and collages. The museum is located in the rural town of Alzuza (Navarre), 9 kilometers from Pamplona. Oteiza was a very famous Basque sculptor who was born in Orio and he died in Donostia, San Sebastian.
The sculptor Jorge Oteiza, was one of the key in the evolution of the art in the twentieth century, author of a history of sculpture and creator for numerous contributions in the field of essays, poetry, anthropology, architecture, language and proposals of socialization of culture and art.
